SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE

Before Holy Week, in English class we saw the movie Slumdog Millionaire.

The film was inspired on the book of Vikas Swarup ‘Q & A’, and won eight Oscars.

It is about a eighteen years old boy called Jamal Malik (Dev Patel) that goes to a TV program called ‘Who wants to be a millionaires?’ He answers all the questions correctly because he can find the answers in his childhood memories. When he was child he lived in a poor area in India and, one day, some people goes to his slum and killed a lot of people (and his mother), so he ran away with his brother and with a girl who Jamal fell in love, Latika (Freida Pinto). Finally, they have to separate and Jamal never gave up finding it.

From my opinion, I like the film, but when I sow that it was an Indian movie I thought that it was a Bollywood movie, but they only dance at the end of the film (during the credits). The film is good and it haves different subjects: adventure, love, emotion…

CHRISTMAS HOLIDAYS

First, I want to wish you a HAPPY NEW YEAR! ♥ ♥ ♥

Ok, I’m going to tell you about my Chrismats holidays 2015-2016.

We ended school on Thuesday 22 December and the same day I took an AVE to Madrid. The next day, Wednesday 23 I went to the theatre Lope de Vega to see The Lion King, the musical. It was amazing and beautiful! The actors and actresses sing and dance very well and, the two children sing fantastic. We returned the 26 to Igualada.

The rest of the Christmas holidays was the same of the others years, I met friends and I had a lot of family lunches and dinners.
